I just read this post and it is crazy to thing that we can walk right past someone famous like this. It just goes to show how the average person is not observant enough and how we are all tied to our own schedules.

Who else has noticed that people do not pay attention to their surroundings? One of the biggest causes of this is technology. We let our smartphones and tablets, with their nifty schedulers, bells, and whistles, to run our lives. I was down in Boston at TD Garden recently and it seemed everyone was on their cellphone or other electronic device. Yes I am a teenager and do text a lot, but I only do it when I am not in a busy place, and I do not let my phone schedule rule what I am allowed to do for every second of my day. We need to leave some time for spontaneity. Our lives are proving to become a drag with our schedules.

Its no wonder why depression rates are so high. All the fun is being sucked out of us by technology.

Sorry for the rant, but it had to be said.
